Diep.io Strategy And Hints: On Tank Classes, Upgrading Stats And Advancing Through The Agar.io-Fashion Game
Been playing Agario spinoff game, Diep.io but want some suggestions for updating your tank and reaching higher levels? Check out our Diep.io tips, tricks and strategy guide, here.
Diep.io, a third, browser-based game sensation is taking the web by storm, joining the ranks of popular forerunners, Agar.io and Slither.io. But unlike Slither.io, which appeared rather simple to get a handle on after playing Agar.io, Diep.io, brings similar gameplay features but with some twists that makes it an altogether different animal.
If you’ve just started playing Diep.io but you actually have’t gotten the handle on the different tank classes, when to upgrade and what stats are most helpful, we’ve put together a beginner’s guide to playing the game and leveling up without using any cheats.
irst things first, for those who have heard of the game but are’t certain how it’s played, basically, instead of being a true site or a snake, you embody a little tank. The object of the game, like Agar.io and Slither.io is to become the largest baddest tank around and it needs demolishing tanks around you in order to get there. Yet, in Diep.io it takes a bit more skill than understanding how to dodge or dash at the correct times. In Diep.io we’ve also got stat points and tank types that add sophistication to the gameplay.
To play the game, you should visit Diep.io http://baldrigeworks.com/diepio-hack/ , type in a username and you’ll be taken to a recognizable looking game grid with your miniature tank in the middle (blue circle with miniature gray square attached).
Obstacles in the game, which you need to shoot in order to get expertise and later level up, contain colored squares, triangles and pentagons.
To fire just point your mouse at your target and click the left mouse button or tap the space bar (alternatively, you can hold down either the left mouse or space bar for continuous shots).
To move around the grid, use your arrow keys
When you destroy shapes or other tanks your tank degree bar starts to fill. Once it’s complete you level up.
Each time your Tank amounts up you develop a stat point which allows you to add stats to your tank like well-being, bullet speed, penetration – there are eight district stats you'll be able to update using points (more on those below). You get a stat point for each level up until you hit 30.
When you reach level 15 tank you'll be able to choose what category of tank you need to belong to – there are four. Each class, just like stats, adds a unique component to your gameplay (more on tank groups below).
Diep.io Stats: All The Tank Upgrades Plus Tips On How To Use Them
There are 8 distinct stat upgrades you'll be able to use. When you level up your tank, a stat menu appears to the left of your game display. Below are the stats you'll be able to choose from. You select a stat by tapping on the plus sign beside each.
Health Regen - Increases the life recovery speed of your tank
Maximum Well-Being - Raises the maximum life
Body Damage - Enhances the damage brought on by collision with other players or obstructions
Bullet Speed - Increases the rate of the projectile
Bullet Penetration - Bullets go through barriers and players
Bullet Damage - Improves the damage caused by projectile
Reload - Time reduced bullets
Motion Speed - Increases movement speed of your tank
Each of these stats clearly brings its own sets of advantages and as you think of the Tank class you're going to select, you’ll need to add complimentary upgrades. For example, snipers load slower so you’ll need to make their shots count. You’ll also want to consider the types of players you see on the board at the time. If the server is loaded with players, for instance, well-being upgrades might be convenient.
There are four different tank classes in Diep.io, which seem once you’ve reached a degree 15 tank. Each course offers its own unique advantages:
Twin - Adds another firearm shooting at the same frequency
Sniper - Raises the range of eyesight and the projectile damage. Class with slower shooting
Machine Gun - Cannon raises the angle and fires projectiles quicker
Flank Guard - Fires in two directions
At degrees 30 and 45, the preceding types upgrade to even more strong tanks. They're as follows:
Twin -> Triplet -> Pentashot
Sniper -> Overseer -> Overlord
Machine Gun -> Destroyer -> Mega Destroyer
Flankguard -> Twin Flank -> Octotank
UPDATE: A brand new Necromancer class was added Wednesday. Learn what it does and the best way to get it, here.
Diep.io Strategies And Upgrade Tips
We sought a number of Diep.io apparel around the net and discovered players sharing upgrade combos and strategies they're using. We've posted a few of them below.
Diep.io Strategy #1 – by FPTN on Reddit
Get to level 15 and upgrade to a Twin
Max out Bullet Damage and Reload (alternative between)
Add a point into Health Regen
Get to level 30 and upgrade to a Triplet (NOT Triple-shot!)
Maximum out Bullet Penetration
Maximum out Bullet Speed
Add the remainder into Max Wellbeing
“The notion is that you're always protected by your own stream of bullets,” FPTN wrote. “The high Bullet Penetration and Reload means that enemy bullets WOn't ever have the capacity to reach you, as they'll be gunned down by your bullets. Then if they try to body slam you, they are going to perish to your high damage stream of bullets. With this in mind, you can go on to pick your own struggles and escape from unwanted ones by covering yourself with a huge, impenetrable wave of bullets. I killed 145 tanks on my last game using this build before I had to leave.”
